A Kind-hearted and Generous Man -

Sylvan’s survivors include his loving brother, Merle Rhoads and his wife, Millie, of Ickesburg; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved feline companion, Maggie.
Sylvan graduated from Mechanicsburg High School as part of the class of 1942. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army who served during World War II. Sylvan retired from Mechanicsburg Ships Parts Control Center, after many years of service working as an allowance specialist.
