Tomalyn “Tomi” Ann (Boll) Peterson

A True Animal Lover -

Tomalyn “Tomi” Ann (Boll) Peterson, age 56, of Mechanicsburg, passed away at home on Thursday, March 30, 2017.  Tomi was born on Wednesday, July 13, 1960 in Carlisle to the late William Thomas Boll and Mable Fern (Criswell) Boll. 

Tomi’s survivors include her husband, Thomas “Tom” Brent Peterson and her beloved canine companion, Bella, whom she rescued..

Tomi graduated from Cumberland Valley High School as part of the class of 1979 and from Electronic Institute in 2000 with an associate’s degree in Web Design.   She was a volunteer with the Red Cross’s Disaster Action Team (DAT).  Tomi was an avid antiquer and she loved animals.  She enjoyed jet skiing, boating, and just being in the water.  Tomi had a high energy level and was very active in all that she set her mind to.

Tomi’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Cremation was private.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I worked with Tomy at volunteers of America many years ago. I can remember the one day she had off of work and brought her dog in the visit with us. He was such a cool dog. Tomy you will be greatly missed.

Tom, I am so sorry for your loss. Tommy was so full of energy and life it is hard to believe she is gone. Take care of yourself.
