Brian David Reed
A Simple Man -
Brian David Reed, age 61, of Camp Hill, passed away at home on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Brian was born on Tuesday, September 11, 1956 in Harrisburg to Richard Wayne Reed and Joanne Marie (Bonawitz) Reed.
Brian’s survivors include his wife of 39 years, Christine “Chris” Elizabeth (Pasco) Reed; his son, Zackery “Zack” Reed and his wife, Judith, and their son, Benjamin, along with Baby Reed who is on the way, all of Mechanicsburg; his parents: Richard “Dick” and Joanne Reed of Mechanicsburg; his brother, Dean Reed and his wife, Carole, of Dillsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Brian graduated from Cumberland Valley High School as part of the class of 1975. He was the owner of Brian Reed Landscape based in Camp Hill, which he successfully owned and operated since 1992. Brian loved being outside and working in his own garden at home. Brian was a collector of a variety of things throughout his life. Some of his many collectibles were: comic books, baseball cards, basketball cards, ceramic items, and most recently, marbles. He enjoyed visiting a good flea market so he could search for more “things” to add to his collection. He was often found debating, especially with someone who disagreed with him, current topics. Brian was a truly simple man who found real happiness in his family. He cherished the time spent with Zack and Ben and was especially excited about the arrival of his newest grandchild.
