Jay proudly began working as a Surge Dealer in 1960 until starting his own business, Soft Touch Water Conditioning, for over 30 years. He dedicated himself to everything throughout his life, especially to his family. Jay absolutely cherished the moments when his whole family was together. He enjoyed being able to sit back and listen to all the laughter and conversations happening around him. Jay also found great value in sitting down together to have a meal because he always found it important to, “have your feet under your own table”. He loved the outdoors and finding a place with a beautiful view. Jay and Jean sometimes found these places on the annual trips the couple would take together that Jay earned through work. They were able to go all over the world and set out on cruises, but Jay always found it best to be home.
All are welcome to join Jay’s family at his gathering of family and friends on Saturday, December 15, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a service to begin at 11:15 a.m. at Mechanicsburg Church of the Brethren, 301 Gale Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Pastor Del Keeney officiating.
