Andrea “Auntie” or “Andi” Gliber
September 6, 1951 - June 21, 2026
Andi,(Auntie), who was born and raised in a Yonkers, N.Y, and moved to Hershey PA, several years ago, passed away peacefully and comfortably on June 21rst.
She has, no doubt, already been warmly received by all of the dogs she gave endless love too.
She was preceded her in departing this mortal realm by her parents, Seymour and Bernice Gliber, and her eldest sister, Carolyn Matthews .
A retired labor and delivery nurse at New Rochelle Hopital in New York, she brought countless babies into the world despite being childless, herself. In the absence of human children, she devoted her life to her dogs.
And nothing made her happier than her two nieces by birth and her bonus niece, and two nephews, until some of them provided grand-nieces and nephews.
Auntie made it a point to give “special days” when my siblings and I were children, On our respective birthdays.
An artist, a Beatles’ fan, a lover of animals and human rights and children.
She was so very full of love and only wanted that love in return. S and she was truly loved
