Andrew “Butch” Szczypta, Jr.

Andrew “Butch” Szczypta, Jr., age 70, of Carlisle, and formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022.  Butch was born on Wednesday, February 20, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Andrew Stanley Szczypta, Sr. and Jessie Cecelia (Oboyjski) Szczypta.

Butch’s survivors include his brother, Bruce Szczypta of Camp Hill; his sister, Deborah Szczypta of Mechanicsburg; his two nieces; his good friends, James “Jim” Domen, Jr. and his wife, Marcy; John Thompson; and many other friends he’s made along the way.

Butch was previously a board member of the Business Men’s League in Mechanicsburg and was a caregiver for numerous people in the community.  He loved to cook.  The people that were fortunate enough to eat his food greatly enjoyed it.  Butch will be missed by many.

Butch’s family will be remembering his life privately.  Cremation was private.
