Anthony "Tony" Joseph Perno

Anthony “Tony” Joseph Perno, age 68, of Mechanicsburg, died on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Tony was born on Sunday, September 23, 1956, in Passaic, New Jersey to the late Joseph Perno and Lottie (Wdoviak) Perno.

Tony’s survivors include his loving partner: Mary Ann (Burger) Juson; his two sisters: Michele Cimino of Matamoras, Sharon Scala of Saddle Brook, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

Tony attended Garfield High School. He retired in 2022 from Painters District Council 711, after many years working as a Drywall Taper. Tony possessed a deep appreciation for the outdoors, particularly fly fishing. He was dedicated to keeping in shape, especially walking in the outdoors. After relocating from New Jersey to Mechanicsburg, Tony faced challenges in locating cuisine similar to what he enjoyed in New Jersey, which motivated him to teach himself cooking and baking techniques, resulting in the creation of outstanding pizzas, breads, cakes, pies, and cookies.  He will be missed by those fortunate to be part of his life.

Services for Tony will take place in New Jersey at a later date.
