Barbara "Bobbi" Mae Marie (Irvin) Adams

Barbara “Bobbi” Mae Marie (Irvin) Adams, age 78, of Etters died on Monday, July 28, 2025. Bobbi was born on Thursday, November 7, 1946, in Harrisburg to the late Robert Walton Irvin and Marie Baily (Wolf) Irvin. Bobbi was the widow of Louis M. Adams, to whom she was married for 20 years and who died on February 15, 2000. In addition to her parents and husband, Bobbi is preceded in death by her brother: Robert C. Irvin.

Bobbi’s survivors include her son: Michael Adams and his wife Cynthia of Mechanicsburg; her four grandchildren: Graham Smith III and his wife Katie, Katelyn Adams, Brandon Smith, Bryce Adams; one great grandchild on-the-way; and several nieces and nephews.

Bobbi graduated from Cedar Cliff High School as part of the class of 1965. She attended First United Methodist Church. Bobbi worked for most of her life as a bank teller for Dauphin Deposit, and then at Balloon City Wholesale for 14 years. After retiring, she served in the cafeteria at West Shore School District. Bobbi had a strong love for animals, and would watch animals for people when they were needing a hand. She also liked to catch and release kittie cats as well. Bobbi had many hobbies including gardening, crossword puzzles, watching movies,  gameshows, and watching court proceedings in Cumberland County. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren. Bobbi will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

All are welcome to join Bobbi’s family at her viewing on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Reverend Mira Hewlett officiating. Bobbi’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Buhrig’s Gathering Place (next to the funeral home) immediately following the service. A private family burial will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, on Monday, August 11, 2025.
