Bert retired from Greenray Industries in Mechanicsburg, after thirty years of service working as a production manager, her fingerprints extended the whole way to the moon.  She was part of the team who assembled camera components utilized on the first moon landing.  She was a member of the Carlisle Country Club.  Bert enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing cards.  She was also an avid sports fan and very athletic herself.  Bert loved reading, being outdoors, and going shopping.  She had such a big heart and was always donating her time and money, especially if someone was in need.  Bert was such a caring person and a good friend that always went over and beyond; she just loved life.  Family always came first and her constant support of them never wavered.  Bert will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and for the strong bond she held with her siblings.
