A Smile to Remember-

Betty L. (Crum) Dimio, 89, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Sunday, November 12, 1922 in St. Cloud, FL the daughter of the late Russell and Charlotte (Fairen) Crum and step-mother Hazel Crum.  Betty was the widow of John A. Dimio.

Betty attended State College High School.  She worked for many years at Penbrook Pastries, the family-owned bakery, and later retired from Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.  Betty was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mechanicsburg.

She enjoyed camping, vacationing and traveling with her children.  She had a special talent for needlepoint, crocheting, knitting, painting and playing the organ. Betty loved small dogs, babies, shopping and desserts.  She created family feasts for all the holidays and special occasions, including unique wedding cakes.   “Mom” was always young at heart and kept her children the same.  Her body and mind just couldn’t keep up.  God has granted “Mom” the keys to heaven and “Dad” had better have the keys ready for her new Mustang convertible.
