Beverly Rose Ciotti

Beverly “Bev” Rose (Park) Ciotti, age 94, of Mechanicsburg, died on Saturday, December 20, 2025. Bev was born on Friday, March 13, 1931, in McKeesport to the late Charles Park and Mary (Weimer) Park. Bev was the widow of Joseph “Bud” Austin; Alex “Al” Hayden; and Louis L. Ciotti. In addition to her parents and husbands, Bev is preceded in death by her infant daughter: Mary Ellen Austin.

Bev spent the first 90 years of her life in the Pittsburgh Area, and loved Pittsburgh and the Steelers.  She was actively involved in the Women’s Club of Baldwin Borough, serving in various leadership roles to include Board President.

Beverly was a woman of faith, and belonged to Spencer United Methodist Church.  She loved to read, dance, travel (Bermuda was her favorite destination) and shop on QVC.  She enjoyed going out to the movies and dinner with family and friends.  Her favorite color was turquoise, because it went well with her naturally red hair. 

Perhaps most of all, Bev loved being a mom and nana.  She looked back fondly on family gatherings around the holidays, most especially at Christmas time.  She will be forever loved and missed.

Bev’s survivors include her two children: Wendy Hayden of Mechanicsburg, David Hayden and wife Beverly, of Pittsburgh; her grandson: Alex Hayden; her “adopted” daughter: Jody Biss of Mechanicsburg; her stepchildren: Fred Ciotti and wife Susan, of Pittsburgh, Christine Kline of Scottsdale AZ; her sister: Nancy (Park) Crew of Jeanette, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wants to say thank you to her care team at Brookdale Grandon Farms and Pinnacle Hospice, most especially to Amber, Andrew, and Susan, her provider, for their compassionate care in Bev’s final weeks.

Services for Bev will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
