Bonnie K. (Klinger) Peckham, age 85, of Camp Hill, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026 at the Woods at Cedar Run. Bonnie was born in Pottstown to the late Robert and Blanche (Boorse) Klinger. In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Klinger and her granddog Wiggles.
She is survived by her beloved husband James Peckham of 63 years; her two children: Jason Peckham and his wife, Suzanne Williamson, of Dillsburg, and Stacy Hulmes and husband, David, of Lansdale; her two cherished grandchildren: Kyle and Jennifer Hulmes.
Bonnie had a gift that was impossible to miss - wherever she went, she met the world with a warm smile and an open heart, striking up conversations with strangers who quickly became friends. That curiosity and warmth touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She attended Springfield High School (Delaware County, PA) and was a graduate of Gettysburg College, where she studied biology. Bonnie went on to spend decades inspiring young minds as a Biology teacher at East Pennsboro High School. She retired in 2000, after a distinguished career, retirement did little to slow her down. She continued to give generously of herself, advocating for environmental protection, delivering meals and companionship through Meals on Wheels, serving as a visionary to bring hands-on science labs to local school children through a program at Gettysburg College, and offering compassionate support to those in need through Stephen Ministry at Pine Street Presbyterian Church. Bonnie later became a member of Christ Presbyterian Church.
When she wasn't giving back to her community, Bonnie could be found with a good book, tending her plant friends, or planning her next travel adventure. Hilton Head was a favorite destination and she loved being surrounded by people. She cherished time with family and friends above everything.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
In lieu of flowers, donations on her behalf can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Christ Presbyterian Church, Camp Hill, PA.
