Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Keidel, age 66, of Rocky River, OH, was embraced by her family on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.  Cindy was born on Wednesday, September 14, 1955, in Fairview Park, OH to the late George Edward Keidel, Jr. and Betty Lou (Scott) Keidel.

Cindy’s survivors include her two brothers: David “Dave” Edward Keidel and wife, Robin, of Mechanicsburg and Scott Keidel and wife, Beverly, of Lancaster, OH; her four nieces and nephews: Jason Keidel of Green Pond, NJ, Alyssa Keidel of Cockeysville, MD, Audrey Zoumpoulidies and husband, Zac, of Tualatin, OR, and Alan Keidel of Palm City, FL; and her sister in-law, Debbie Keidel of Palm City, FL.

Cindy graduated from Rocky River High School as part of the class of 1974.  She retired from University Hospital St. John Medical Center in Westlake, OH, after more than 20 years of service working in housekeeping.  Cindy was a lifetime member of Rocky River United Methodist Church.  She was an avid fan of all Ohio sports teams including the Cleveland Guardians, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Cleveland Browns.  Cindy enjoyed shopping and going to her family’s lake house in Vermilion on Lake Erie.  She also cherished the times spent socializing with friends from work, which she considered family.  Cindy truly loved her friends and family deeply.

Cindy’s family is planning a celebration of life to be held at a later date.  Cremation was private.
