Donald "Don" Arnold Silverman

Donald (Don) Arnold Silverman, 89, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ, died on Sunday, February 1, 2026. Don was born on August 3, 1936 in Camden, NJ to the late William and Fannie (Grossberg) Silverman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Leonard.

Don is survived by his wife of 44 years Pamela (Edwards), of Mechanicsburg, his daughter Sandie Custer, of Mechanicsburg, grandson Ethan Custer, and mother-in-law Shirley Sandberg, of Marlton, NJ.

Don graduated from Camden High School in 1955. After high school, he served in the army and then worked for the US government. For over 30 years, Don drove charter bus for American Way, Martz Bus and Safety Bus. Don was an avid Philly sports fan, especially the Phillies and Eagles.

All are welcome to join Don’s family at his committal service on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 1804 Fisher Avenue, Annville, PA 17003; with Pastor David Flowers officiating. Guests are invited to arrive at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. to join the family at the committal shelter.
