Dorothy Geraldine (Derr) Simmons
Dorothy Geraldine (Derr) Simmons, age 86, of Mifflintown , and formerly of Mechanicsburg , died at Brookline Manor & Retirement Village on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Born in Hershey, on Sunday, May 8, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Roy Derr and Loretta (Mower) Derr. She was the widow of Charles Simmons.
Dorothy’s survivors include her siblings, Romayne Doris Kane of Salem, OR, and Betty Louise Derr of Mifflintown. Dorothy was formerly employed at Cumberland Valley High School and Rite Aid in Shiremanstown.
