Dot’s survivors include her four children: Robert “Bob” Dellinger and his wife, Sue, of Lewisberry; Cheryl Tozlosky of Mechanicsburg; Steven “Steve” Dellinger and his wife, Peg, of Lisburn; Diane Bredbenner and her husband, Dan, of Ringtown; her seven grandchildren: Scott Dellinger and his wife, Jen, of Lewisberry; Michele Ebersole and her husband, Jason, of Lewisberry; Melissa Schiers and her husband, Marco, of Oregon; Jennifer Dellinger of Mechanicsburg; Rachel Dellinger of Mechanicsburg; Nichole Redgate and her husband, Eric, of Middleburg, FL; Kristy Dellinger of Ringtown; her six great-grandchildren; her brother, Edward “Eddie” Parks of Mechanicsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Dot was a 1952 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School and a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg.  In 1998, she retired from Fry Communications in Mechanicsburg, after 25 years of service working as a machine loader.  Dot was a proud member of American Legion Post 109 – Mechanicsburg, where she was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary.  She relished any time spent camping at the beach, most especially at Assateague Island and along the Jersey shore.  Dot loved fishing, trying her luck at Hollywood Casino, going to dirt track races, and even though it terrified her, she enjoyed riding out in the championship cars with her son and grandson.   Family meant everything to Dot and spending the holidays with them was her absolute favorite. Dot will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

All are welcome to join Dot’s family at her viewing on Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Reverend Dr. Karen Durbin officiating.  A graveside service and burial will follow the service in St. John’s Cemetery in Mechanicsburg.  Dot’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Buhrig’s Gathering Place (next to the funeral home) immediately following the burial.
