Edward “Scot” E. Wilden, Jr., age 56, of Camp Hill, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 27, 2027. Scot was born on Sunday, January 4, 1970, in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Edward E. Wilden, Sr. and Susan Marie Mitchell. In addition to his parents, Scot is preceded in death by his three brothers: Rodney III, Dallas, and John; his canine companion, Bandit; and his feline companion, Dallas.
Scot’s survivors include wife of ten years, Barbara Ann (Alexander) Wilden; his three siblings: Jeffrey “Jeff” Shaw of Mt. Sterling, Ohio; Anthony “Todd” Wilden of Orrville, Ohio; and Susan Shaw of Newcomerstown, Ohio; his stepchildren: Taylor Brown of Mechanicsburg, and Zachary Brown of Dillsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Scot attended Red Land High School and Cedar Cliff High School, where he was a standout football player. He proudly wore the number 22, as did one of his favorite football stars, Emmit Smith. He was also an ardent fan of “America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys” and The Ohio State University Football team. After many years of working as a toll booth operator, Scot retired from the Pennsylvania Turnpike and went to work as a forklift operator for Allen Distribution in Mechanicsburg. Scot also loved his many pets. His dog, Bandit, was his constant companion. Scot cherished the time he spent with friends and family, where he was always the “Life of the Party”. Scot will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Scot’s family is planning a celebration of life service at a later date.
