A Great Storyteller-

Faron Wayne Clouser, age 62, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Bellefonte, died at home and surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, after a more than three year battle with bladder cancer.  Faron was born on Thursday, April 9, 1959, in Bellefonte to Molly Jane (Frazier) Clouser and the late Harold Wesley Clouser. In addition to his father, Faron is preceded in death by his brother, Greg Clouser.

Faron’s survivors include his wife of 24 years, Michele Ann (Whitman) Clouser; his mother, Molly Jane (Frazier) Clouser; his brother, Todd Clouser and wife, Susan, of Bellefonte; his two nieces: Melissa Clouser-Missett and husband, Richard, of Philadelphia, and Kaitlyn Clouser of Bellefonte; and his beloved canine companion, Higgins.

For the past 16 years, Faron worked for JEM Group, LLC as a Superintendent, Safety Manager, and most recently in Warehouse Management. He was a long time member of the Mechanicsburg Club, and liked to spend time feeding the birds, flying his extensive kite collection, and loved to travel- especially to the beach.  Faron was also an avid hunter, and he loved to fish at Raystown Lake. He cheered for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football teams, and enjoyed both Formula One and Indy Car racing.  Faron and Michele shared nearly 30 years together, and celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on October 4, 2021. Faron loved his family, his friends, and his beloved 14 year old Cairn-Terrier, Higgins. A great storyteller and history buff, Faron will be remembered for his infectious laugh and little punch in the arm, his beautiful smile, watching old black and white movies, and listening to music while enjoying hard-shelled crabs every summer.

All are welcome to join Faron’s family at his celebration of life open house and gathering of family and friends on Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a time of remembrance beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory); with Celebrant Patti Vogl officiating.  In keeping with Faron’s style and wishes, guests are invited to dress casually and comfortably; leave the suits and ties at home.
