Frances A. (Smith) Wondoloski

Frances (Weikel) Wondoloski, 90, formerly of Elysburg, PA, died peacefully on April 16, 2024 at Country Meadows, Mechanicsburg, PA.  She was born May 17, 1933 in Danville, a daughter of the late Charles and Sophia (Jaworski) Smith.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel R. Weikel, in 1980, and her second husband, Joseph Wondoloski, in  2016.  She lived in Elysburg for 67 years before retiring to Country Meadows.

She is survived by her children, Louise Kadjeski and her husband Michael of Mechanicsburg, PA, Karl Weikel and his wife Lisa of Pipersville, PA, and Francine Michalek and her husband Daniel of Brighton, MI, and 6 grandchildren, Krista Heilman, Andrew Kadjeski, David Michalek, Maximus Weikel, Sage Weikel and Meredith Leavitt, and 4 great-grandchildren.  Preceding her in death were her brothers Larry Smith and Charles Smith, her sisters Helene Nye, Elizabeth Andrulewicz, and Sally Bartol, and a grandson Karl Daniel Weikel in 2011.

Private burial will be at All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg, PA.  A memorial gathering  to celebrate the life of Frances will be planned for a future date.
