Frank Edward Siemon, Sr.
A Simple Guy -
Frank Edward Siemon, Sr., age 72, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Middletown, NY, the city where he and his wife raised their two sons, was embraced by his wife in Heaven on Sunday, October 20, 2019. Frank was born on Monday, February 3, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Francis Anthony Siemon and Agnes Elizabeth (McDonald) Siemon. Frank was the widower of Gloria Ann (Petliski) Siemon, whom he married on June 29, 1968, and who died on December 24, 2016. In addition to his parents and wife, Frank is preceded in death by his faithful canine companion, Buddy.
Frank’s survivors include his two sons: Frank Siemon, Jr. and his wife, Laurel, of Mechanicsburg, John Siemon and his wife, Stacey, of Hampstead, NC; his five grandchildren: Andrew, Rebecca, Jon, Samantha, William; his sister, Patricia “Pat” Wieninger of Greenville, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
Frank retired from Rebtex, Inc. in Bridgewater, NJ, after 7 years of service working as a plant manager. He attended the Church of the Good Shepherd in Camp Hill since 2006. Frank enjoyed playing cards, particularly poker and pinochle. He was a baseball fan that went from cheering on the Los Angeles Dodgers to the New York Mets and lastly, the New York Yankees. Frank also liked to watch football, especially if his favorite team, the Oakland Raiders, were playing. He truly was a simple guy, however Frank did have a palate for excellent food. Family was of the utmost importance in his life. He loved spending time with them and having everyone together, mostly during the holidays or vacations. Frank was a hard worker and the love he had for his wife, sons, and grandchildren always helped to keep him motivated.
All are welcome to join Frank’s family at his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 East Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011; with Reverend Neil S. Sullivan celebrating. Honored to be the urn bearer is Paul Slinkowski. Frank’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship immediately following the mass. Cremation was private.
