Frederick "Fred" Ward

Frederick “Fred” Ward, age 64, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Spencer, MA, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023.  Fred was born on Wednesday, January 7, 1959, in Clinton, MA to the late Frederick Frances Ward and Helen (Kaliszewski) Ward.

Fred’s survivors include his wife of nearly 43 years, Linda Ann (St. Cyr) Ward; his three children: Joshua “Josh” Ward and wife, Tiffany, of Boiling Springs; Amanda Sacoman and husband, Stephen, of Camp Hill; Jacqueline Ward and husband, Kuen Tsang, of Mechanicsburg; his six grandchildren: Makenzie Ward, Kyleigh Smith, Victoria Ward, Jarek Sacoman, Dominic Ward, and Isaac Sacoman; his sister: Faith Levesque and husband, Mark, of Pittsfield, MA; several nieces and nephews; his beloved canine companion, Gronk; and his feline companion: Duke.

Fred graduated from Worcester Technical High School as part of the class of 1977.  He drove truck for several trucking companies.  He was a cross country truck driver for 15 years.   Fred spent much of his time on the road; however, when he was at home, he liked tending to his vegetable garden, working in his yard; and going hunting.  Fred also like to watch WWE wrestling on television.  He cherished his family and loved to spend time with them.  Fred will be greatly missed by all whom knew him.

Fred’s family will be celebrating his life privately.  Cremation was private.
