G. June Paull

Gloria “June” June (Etter) Paull, age 98, of Mechanicsburg died on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. June was born on Wednesday, June 29, 1927, in Highspire to the late Frank Wilbur Etter and Verna Viola (Frazer) Etter. June was the widow of Robert “Bob” Burgard Paull, whom she married on September 20, 1947, and who died on October 29, 2016. In addition to her parents and husband, June is preceded in death by her brother: Wilbur “Bill” Etter.

June’s survivors include her three children: Jan Andrick of Dillsburg, James Paull and his wife Cheryl of Mechanicsburg, Richard Paull and his wife Kelly of Duncannon; her eight grandchildren: Brian Paull, Daniel Paull, Eric Paull, Andrew Paull, Matthew Paull, Josh Paull, Barry Strayer, Thomas Strayer; her seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

June graduated from John Harris High School as part of the class of 1945. She retired from Book of the Month after many years of service working as a clerk. June was a lifelong member of Derry Street United Methodist Church in Harrisburg. She was very devoted to her church. June was an avid gardener and could be frequently found outside tending to her vegetables and flowers. She travelled all over the United States with her husband, and enjoyed going to Canada to fish. June and Bob were avid Boston Red Sox fans. June loved to go to the beach and spend time with her friends and family. She will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

All are welcome to join June’s family at her graveside service on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. at Dillsburg Cemetery on Mountain Road in Dillsburg, PA 17019; with Pastor Mack Granderson officiating. June’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Buhrig’s Gathering Place (next to the funeral home) immediately following the interment.
