George Samuel Smith, Sr.

George Samuel Smith, Sr., age 75, of Wellsville, and formerly of Franklintown, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.  George was born on Saturday, August 4, 1945, in Harrisburg to the late Dorothy Leona (Smith) Erford.

George’s survivors include his two sons: Terry Smith and wife Donna of Wisconsin, George “Georgie” Samuel Smith, Jr. of Virginia; his three brothers: Robert “Bob” Franklin Erford, Sr. and wife Lynn of Camp Hill, Richard “Rich” Lee Erford of Carlisle, Gary Eugene Erford and wife Gail of Simpsonville, SC; his sister, Marsha Elaine Kunkle and husband Harvey of Dover; and his several nieces and nephews.

George’s family will be remembering his life privately.  Cremation was private.
