Geraldine "Gerrie" (Yingling) Miller

Geraldine "Gerrie" (Yingling) Miller passed away on February 19, 2026, at her home in Mechanicsburg. She was born in Westminster, Maryland, daughter of Robert and Christine Yingling. She was the wife of Harold Miller with whom she resided.

Geraldine was a graduate of Western Maryland College. She taught foreign languages in the Baltimore County Schools and Harrisburg City Schools and later served as a substitute teacher in the West Shore School District. Additionally, Geraldine worked as a sales associate at the former Sears store in Camp Hill.

For many years she was active in her church, serving as a Sunday School teacher and on the Fellowship Committee.

Geraldine enjoyed travelling, visiting each of the lower 48 states and making numerous trips to Europe. Always intellectually curious, she instilled a love of learning in her children.

She is survived by her husband, Harold, and her children, Lisa Elliott and Scott Miller.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers from Home Instead and Amedisys Hospice for the help and compassionate care they provided during her last days. 

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, March 6th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 132 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am with Services at 11:00 am.
