Hilda Mae Brenneman

Hilda Brenneman passed away on February 1, 2026, in Mechanicsburg. Born on June 8, 1942, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Hilda lived life committed to her family.

She was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School in the Class of 1959.

Hilda retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot, where her strong work ethic and attention to detail garnered respect from her colleagues. 

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. 

A proud member of a card club for 60-years, Hilda was also active in a sewing and embroidery guild, always cherishing the companionship of friends old and new. Her love for gardening flourished alongside her fondness for antiques.

Hilda leaves behind a loving family—her son, Allen (Karla) Brenneman, and daughter, Jan (Kurt) LaLomia; grandchildren Alaina Brenneman, Samuel Brenneman, Madeline "Maddie" LaLomia, and Grace LaLomia—who will carry forward her values of warmth, compassion, and resilience. She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph (Mary Ellen) Nokovich and Charles (Terry) Nokovich, who will hold dear the memories they forged together.

Hilda was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Evelyn Nokovich.

Family and friends will gather together to celebrate her life at a future date, to be announced.
