John “Johnny” Charles Boltash Jr, age 83, of Camp Hill, died on Monday, June 22, 2026. Johnny was born on Monday, May 3, 1943, in Amsterdam, NY to the late John Charles Boltash Sr and Mary Elizabeth (Zubek) Boltash. Johnny was the widower of Donna Louise (Kennedy) Boltash, whom her married on September 27, 1976, and who died on May 13, 2018. In addition to his parents and wife, X is preceded in death by his step-son: Robert Jones, his step-grandson: Duron Parson; and his sister: Mary Ann Porter.
Johnny’s survivors include his step-great granddaughter: Lilyanna Parson; and his two siblings: Beverly Higgs of Newburgh, NY and Nick Boltash and his wife Maggie of Broadalbin, NY.
Johnny graduated from Perth Central High School as part of the class of 1960 He proudly served the United States Army in the Vietnam War, and was a member of the Lower Allen VFW. Johnny retired from Rite Aid after 26.5 years of service loading trucks. He attended St Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg. Johnny enjoyed playing pool and fishing. He was and avid reader, especially of James Patterson books. Johnny reserved time to watch wrestling on TV every night. He will be missed by those who knew him.
All are welcome to join Johnny’s family at his viewing on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Burial will follow the service in St. John’s Cemetery in Mechanicsburg.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in celebration of Johnny’s life can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg.
