Her enduring presence will be deeply missed by her family. She cherished the support and love and found joy in the large family that surrounded her, including her twenty nieces and nephews.

Julia was a long time member of Hope United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg. She enjoyed cooking and there was always room for another place at her table. An avid bird watcher, she enjoyed feeding them at her back yard feeders and taking walks with binoculars in hand searching out birds along the way. She was also a seamstress making some of her own and family members clothing and always willing to take on a sewing project for a friend or church member. She also enjoyed making many different crafts to sell at the annual church craft show.
