Dillsburg

Julie Mae (Drawbaugh) Potts, age 67, of Dillsburg, died on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Julie was born on Tuesday, July 15, 1958, in York to the late Luther Drawbaugh and Victoria Slenker. In addition to her parents, Julie is preceded in death by her two siblings: Cathy Lubic and Bob Slenker.

Julie’s survivors include her two children: Stacey Bickle and her life partner Diane Moltrup of Dillsburg, Nathan Potts of Mechanicsburg; her grandchild: Judah Potts; her three siblings: Tom Slenker and his wife Deb, Doug Drawbaugh, Cindy Christine and her husband Rick; and several nieces and nephews.

Julie retired from Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg after many years of service working as a housekeeper. She loved to be outside and watch the people around her while talking with her neighbors. When Julie couldn’t be outside, she was inside watching her favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was a wonderful interior decorator, and could make any space feel like home. Julie would often go thrifting to find crafting materials and décor. She loved Christmas and birthdays, and always added little touches to make the days special. Christmas being celebrated on Christmas Eve of course was a favorite family tradition, with Julie acquiring new pajamas every year. Her family meant the world to her and she treasured the time she spent with them. Julie was a doting grandmother and went to every baseball game of Judah’s. She was known to always go above and beyond for others. Julie will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Julie’s family will be remembering her life privately. Interment will be at the family’s convenience. Cremation was private.

Contributions in celebration of Julie’s life can be made to Hospice of Central PA.
