Kristin Kaye (Strawhecker) Bottini of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, February 19, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Kristin is survived by her best friend and beloved husband of 34 years: Donald Bottini; and their twin sons: Nicholas and Nathan Bottini. Kristin was the heart and soul of their home. Their marriage was built on laughter, support, and deep companionship and was a testament to enduring love. Together, they created a life filled with adventure, long drives, and the joy of being together.
Kristin's pride and joy were her twin boys. She was their biggest cheerleader and a great source of inspiration. Even in her final days, she would light up most brightly when speaking of her boys, their kindness, and how proud she was of the men they had become.
Kristin is also survived by her sister: Julie Myers, and her sister: Denise (Dave) Kennedy, along with many nieces and nephews, with whom she shared cherished memories of summers at Camp Sherwood.
Kristin is preceded in death by her parents: Reynold and Miriam Strawhecker.
Kristin had a gift of making everyone around her feel truly valued. She found beauty in everyday moments. She will be remembered by her many friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She touched many in ways large and small.
Kristin is a former employee at the Carlisle Barracks Children and Youth Services, and she spent many years working for Bethany Village.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at Christian Life Assembly (Youth Center Sanctuary) on February 27, 2026, starting with a Visitation at 10 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11 am. The interment will be at Rolling Green Cemetery immediately following a reception at the Church. In lieu of flowers her family asks that you consider making a donation to Homeland Hospice. The family requests that all who attend the service wear something pink to honor Kristin.
In loving memory of a beautiful life lived, may she rest in the gentle peace of heaven.
Kristin Bottini forever loved and forever remembered.
