Larry Orme Neidig

Larry Orme Neidig, age 68, of Mechanicsburg, died on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Larry was born on Sunday, November 3, 1957, in Mechanicsburg to the late Roy J. Neidig and Helen Louise (Fenton) Neidig. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his brother: Lynwood Neidig.

Larry’s survivors include his two children: Kristina “Tina” Neidig of Mechanicsburg, Kevin Neidig and his wife Stephanie of Dillsburg; his three brothers: Leslie “Les” Neidig and his wife Pam of Lancaster, Leonard “Len” Neidig and his wife Pam, Loren Neidig and his wife Brenda of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry worked many years as a forklift operator with Iceland Seafood Corporation and also as an electrician for J.L. Ruth. He was a skilled and hardworking individual who took pride in practical work and problem-solving. In his free time, Larry enjoyed shooting pool, rooting for the Eagles, woodworking, fixing cars, listening to classic rock radio, hunting, fishing, and playing computer games. He was happiest when working with his hands or spending time immersed in his hobbies. 

Larry’s family will be remembering his life privately. Interment will be at the family’s convenience. Cremation was private.
