Laura Lee Ferrara
Laura Lee Ferrara, age 68, of East Berlin, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Laura was born on Wednesday, February 18, 1953 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph John Ferrara and Ann Marie (Kivikoski) Ferrara
Laura’s survivors include her two children: Anthony J. Flick of New Cumberland, Heather Y. Flick (Charles Daley) of Shiremanstown; her two grandchildren: Hannah S. Flick and Trevor E. Flick; her three siblings: Joseph J. Ferrara Jr. (Kimberlie), Cynthia Alfera, Kristina Ferrara-Linser (Bernard); her niece and nephews; her beloved feline companions; and many dear friends.
Laura graduated high school in Chicago and later in life went to HACC to earn her degree. Laura was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Abbottstown. Laura dedicated most of her time to volunteer work as a Docent with the Hershey Museum and working at the Hershey Gardens. She received her Master Gardener Certification from Dauphin County and loved to garden. She was a member of Chicks with Sticks—a crochet club—and the East Berlin Historical Society. Laura was an avid antique collector and history buff with a passion for reading, learning, and completing the family genealogy. She loved sewing and working on projects in her craft room.
Laura’s family will be remembering her life privately.
