Laurie Ann (Miller) Higham, 47, of Camp Hill died at Hershey Medical Center on Saturday, February 18, 2012. She was born in Harrisburg on Monday, August 10, 1964 daughter of Nancy Lee (Stevens) Potteiger and the late Donald Ric hard Miller Sr. Laurie was the wife of Owen Dennis Higham who she married on September 23, 1989.

Laurie graduated from Cedar Cliff High School as part of the class of 1982. She loved working at Walmart in Mechanicsburg seeing her friends there as her extended family. Laurie was a wild bingo player who never missed going to her Monday night Bingo games with her mother. She made the best homemade pizza and baked ziti and she greatly enjoyed watching her cooking shows although she never put those recipes to the test. She was a huge supporter of her children who always felt her love for them.

Laurie’s survivors include her loving husband of 22 years: Owen Dennis Higham; one son: Daniel Higham; one daughter: Britney Higham; her mother: Nancy Potteiger all of Camp Hill; three brothers: Edward Potteiger, Don Potteiger both of Camp Hill, John Potteiger of Enola; one sister: Deb Kinard of Dover; and several nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to join Laurie’s family at her Gathering of Family and Friends on Thursday, February 23, 2012, from 1:00 until time of Memorial Service at 2:00 at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church , 99 2nd Street, West Fairview, PA, 17025 with Pastor Gale M. Gregor officiating. Cremation was private. Laurie’s family invites everyone to join them for a Time of Food and Fellowship at her church following the memorial service.
