Linda Harlacher Zimmerman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 3, 2025, in Camp Hill, PA. Born on August 29, 1941, in Harrisburg, PA, Linda was a shining light to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, as her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

Linda's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She loved creating cherished memories filled with laughter and love. Her culinary talents were unmatched; every Sunday, she would host the family meal, bringing everyone together around the table for a day of nourishment and connection.

A true people person, Linda loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She found immense joy in their accomplishments and growth, and her love extended to her great-grandchildren as well. Each of them held a special place in her heart. In her leisure time, she delighted in reading, enjoyed visits to the beach and mountains, and was an avid football enthusiast, always cheering for her favorite teams with enthusiasm.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Dorothy Harlacher, and her sister, Marsha Shetron. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Wayne Isaac Zimmerman Jr., her son Wayne “Chip” (Tina) Zimmerman III, and her daughters Stacey Houck and Susan (Reed) Houck. Linda also leaves behind a legacy through her grandchildren: Zachary (Kaylee) Houck, Seth (Allison) Houck, Nathan (Carly) Houck, Logan (Jenna) Houck, Isaac Zimmerman and Cole Zimmerman, along with her adored great-grandchildren: Emma Houck, Brantley Houck, Cecilia Clouser, Savannah Houck, Scarlett Houck, Lucy Houck, Sawyer Houck, and soon to arrive baby boy Houck. Linda’s loyal companion, her dog Maggie, will miss her dearly as well.

As we gather to remember Linda, may we share stories of her life, laughter, and love—an enduring tribute to a remarkable woman who meant so much to so many. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us all of the beauty of love and togetherness.
