Matthew Leo Sarzynski, Jr.

Matthew Leo Sarzynski, Jr., age 66, of York Haven, died on Monday, June 9, 2025 at his home suddenly of natural causes. Matthew was born on Wednesday, June 3, 1959, in Philadelphia, to the late Mathew Leo Sarzynski, Sr. and Katharine Irene (Geraghty) Sarzynski.

Matthew’s survivors include his two loving children; Brandon Sarzynski and wife, Lenka, of Mechanicsburg, Deanna Elston and husband, Patrick, of Sturbridge, MA; his four grandchildren: Evan Elston, Lexie Elston, Verena Sarzynski, Landon Elston; his two sisters: MaryAnne Sarzynski of Amelia Island, FL, and Bernadette Sarzynski of Philadelphia.

Matthew retired from AT&T in 2022 after a successful career as a dedicated Network Systems Engineer. Matthew was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, loved riding his Harley Davidson Fat Boy, enjoyed helping and spending time with his friends and family. Most of all he loved being around and doting over his grandchildren and children. 

Friends and Family are invited to a celebration of life open house on Saturday, June 21st, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral & Cremation). Feel free to dress in casual and comfortable attire. Over 100 parking spaces are available; just look for the “Buhrig” parking signs in all of the parking lots.
