A Very Loving Person -

Maureen Bernazzani, age 32, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023.  She was home surrounded by her loving family.  Maureen was born on Tuesday, July 9, 1991, in Queens, NY, to Raymond and Therese Bernazzani.

Maureen is preceded in death by her beloved canine, Heidi.  Maureen’s survivors include her parents, Raymond Bernazzani and Therese Bernazzani of Mechanicsburg PA; her two brothers: Bobby Shasta of Mineola, New York; Christopher Bernazzani of St. James, New York; and her beloved feline companion: Pickles.

Over the years, Maureen had several careers which she enjoyed, including giving smiles to those who needed them by delivering flowers, providing extra help to those who needed it as a caretaker, and helping people who wanted to donate blood as a phlebotomist.  Maureen was an outgoing person who followed the beat of her drum.  She always emphasized how important family was.  She enjoyed going to concerts and being the life of the party.  Maureen’s creativity allowed for beautiful designs in her jewelry business.  Whether pets or humans, Maureen’s contagious positive energy poured into soul she came across.

We will be celebrating and remembering Maureen this Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at her viewing from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory.  The address is 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  Private cremation will follow the service.
