Merle William Owens

Merle William Owens, age 77, of Mechanicsburg died on Friday, April 11, 2025. Merle was born on Friday, June 19, 1947, in Winber, PA to the late Blair Owens and Marie (Snyder) Owens.

Merle’s survivors include his wife of 57 years, Carol Sue (Gubete) Owens; his son: Eric William Owens and his wife Shannon of Oxford, PA; his two grandchildren: Ryan and Katie; his two sisters: Carrie Owens of Winber, PA, Ida Hechler and her husband Jerry of Dillsburg, PA, and several nieces and nephews.

Merle’s family will be remembering his life privately. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville will be at the family’s convenience.
