Nelson "Nels" Dean Berlin

Nelson Dean Berlin age 80 passed away at home into the arms of his Lord and savior. He was born to Reginald and Elizabeth Berlin on July 24, 1946.  Nelson was a 1964 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School and a 1968 graduate of West Chester State College.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Reynolds Berlin of Mechanicsburg, a daughter Amy Starr and her husband Tim of Dover, PA, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren, his brother Reginald Berlin of Dillsburg, and sister Gail Via of New Bloomfield. 

He was predeceased by his parents and his son Andrew Nelson Berlin, of Carlisle.  Nelson was a physical education teacher for many years and retired as an activity specialist from SCI Camp Hill.  He was a devoted member of the Blue Moon Cruisers and the Keystone Region Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club.  

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Heritage Christian Academy on Trindle Road in Mechanicsburg.

Nelson's family will be celebrating his life privately.  His interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Mechanicsburg will be at the convenience of the family.
