Nicole (Liese) Sharretts

Nicole (Liese) Sharretts, age 33, of Mechanicsburg, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, April 13, 2020.  Nicole was born on Friday, September 5, 1986, in Freital, East Germany to Andrea (Klose) Klepping.

Nicole’s survivors include her two daughters: Alexis Marie Sharrets and Amaya Longson; her mother, Andrea (Klose) Klepping of Mechanicsbug; her step father, Mark Kurt Klepping and wife, Jessica, of Elizabethtown; her five siblings: Nathan Mark Klepping and fiancee, Viki, of Elizabethtown, Viktoria Jean Klepping of Mechanicsburg, Randee Rebeccca Klepping of Elizabethtown, Dean Andrew Sohnleitner of Elizabethtown, Nolan Christopher Sohnleitner of Elizabethtown; and her nephew, Brayden Lee Shive.

Nicole graduated from Woodside High School as part of the class of 2005 and from ECPI in 2007.  She was working as a waitress at the Silver Spring Diner in Mechanicsburg.  As the oldest of six children, Nicole took an active role in helping to care for her brothers and sisters.  She developed into a great cook, and never disappointed anyone with the delicious meals that she prepared.  Those that knew Nicole appreciated her love of life. She enjoyed going to amusement parks with her family.  Her favorites included Water Country, Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion, which was her favorite because of the roller coasters.  During her quiet time, she read true crime novels or spent time with her pets. Nicole loved going to the beach, it didn’t matter where, as long as there was sand and an ocean.  Her friends and family will miss her witty and effervescent personality.

Nicole’s immediate services will be private while family and friends are encouraged to remain safely at home. Services with public gathering will be announced once scheduled.  Cremation was private.
