Patricia (Gilroy) Allabaugh

Patricia (Gilroy) Allabaugh, age 92, of Mechanicsburg, PA, died on Saturday, April 20, 2024.  Pat was born on Tuesday, October 27, 1931, in Wilkes-Barre to the late Edmund Gilroy and Theresa (Burke) Gilroy. Pat was the widow of Loring William Allabaugh.  In addition to her parents and husband, Pat is preceded in death by her son, William Allabaugh; daughter, Donna Henry; brother, Edmund “Bud” Gilroy and her loving canine companion, Sammie.

Pat’s survivors include; her granddaughter: Anna-Nickole “Nickie” Henry; her son-in-law: Samuel Henry; close family friend: Lisa Mcelwee; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved canine companion: Yumi.

Pat retired from Offset Books, and stayed active and busy.  She was a kind woman who enjoyed western movies and relaxing on her deck.  Pat loved animals and spending time with Sammie and Yumi.  Yumi was her best friend.  Pat’s daughter was her world and she enjoyed spending personal time with Nickie. She will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.   

Pat’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Interment in will be at the family’s convenience.
