Rebecca “Becky” Alice (Kessenger) Lemar

Rebecca “Becky” Alice (Kessenger) Lemar, 79, of Chambersburg died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Shippensburg Health Care Center.  She was born on January 29, 1932 in Chambersburg the daughter of the late David and Mary (Forester) Kessenger.  Becky was the widow of Walter Lemar.

Becky loved spending time with her family. She was an avid bingo player and loved stuffed animals.  She also liked collecting anything frog related.

Becky’s survivors include her loving children: Eugene E. Henry and wife Cindy; Marvin A. Henry; Gloria J. Henry; Tracy L. Hamilton and husband Howard; Dennis R. Henry; Richard M. Henry and wife Ellen; Thomas E. Henry; a sister Vera Carr and husband Claude; 27 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Among those preceding Becky in death are a son: Kenneth R. Henry; grandsons: Jonathan W. Hamilton and Michael J. Jackson; and great-granddaughter: Dakota Allison Day.

All are welcome to join Becky’s family at a Gathering of Family and Friends on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, from 6:00 to 9:00 at the home of her son Rich, located at 79 Sunset Ave. Chambersburg.
