Robert "Bob" George Grunden

Robert “Bob” George Grunden, age 85, of Harrisburg died on Sunday, June 23, 2024. Bob was born on Saturday, October 22, 1938, in Harrisburg, PA to the late Robert Mervin Grunden and Mildred (Morris) Grunden. Bob was the widower of Patricia “Pat” Ann (Golden) Grunden, whom he married on December 15, 1972, and who died on April 28, 2024. In addition to his parents and wife, Bob is preceded in death by his sister, Florence Elizabeth Miller.

Bob served in the United States Air Force from 1959 - 1979.  During this time he also served in Vietnam and Thailand.

Bob’s survivors include his children, his grandchildren, his brother: Edward "Butch" Grunden, and his beloved dog and companion Sadie.

Bob will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known him. 

All are welcome to join Bob’s family at his gathering of family and friends on Friday, July 19, 2024 with a service beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA 17003; with Celebrant George Spangler officiating.
