Robert “Bob” Eugene White, age 57, of Milton, DE, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, PA, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Bob was born on Saturday, May 17, 1969, in Endicott, NY to Judith Ann Beauter and the late Gerald Eugene White.
Just one day after celebrating 27 years of marriage with the love of his life, April, Bob entered into the presence of his Savior. While his passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him, his family finds comfort knowing he is now at peace in the arms of Jesus Christ.
Bob’s survivors include his wife, April (Weiman) White; his cherished daughter: Grace White of Milton, DE; his mother: Judy Beauter of Owego, NY; and his three siblings: Bill White and his wife Amy of Raleigh, NC, Jerry White of Angier, NC, and Becky Babel of Erwin, NC, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews
Bob devoted more than three decades to the hospitality industry, earning the admiration and respect of countless colleagues, owners, and team members. He was known not only for his leadership and professionalism but for the genuine kindness, encouragement, and integrity he brought to every person he met. Bob’s last position was Vice President of Operations for Pinnacle Hospitality of Ocean City, MD. He was truly proud to be part of this hospitality family. Whether mentoring a new employee, serving a guest, or helping a struggling friend, Bob believed that people always came first.
His greatest joy, however, was his family. Bob was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and respected hospitality leader. He treasured every moment spent with those he loved and leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith, generosity, compassion, and unconditional love.
Bob faithfully served the Lord for many years, including nearly a decade as an Associate Pastor at Turning Point Church in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. His faith shaped every part of his life and inspired the kindness, humility, and servant's heart for which he will always be remembered.
Bob enjoyed kayaking, spending time beneath "his" shade tree, listening to praise and worship music, and making memories with family and friends. He had a gift for making people feel welcome wherever he went, earning the affectionate nickname "Banquet Bob." His smile, gentle spirit, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Even in death, Bob's generous spirit continued through the gift of organ donation, a final act of selfless love that reflected the way he lived his life—always putting others before himself.
All are welcome to join Bob’s family at his viewing on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Reverend George Spangler officiating. Bob’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Buhrig’s Gathering Place (next to the funeral home) immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, Bob's family asks that those wishing to honor his memory consider making a memorial donation to help with unexpected expenses, support Grace as she continues her college education through the family's GoFundMe page at https://gofund.me/5c8178c9e, or honor Bob's lifelong commitment to helping others through Feed My Starving Children, 401 93rd Ave. NW, Minneapolis, MN 55433, https://www.fmsc.org/ways-to-give.
Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Bob has heard the words every faithful servant longs to hear:
"Well done, good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your Lord." — Matthew 25:23
Until we meet again in the presence of our Savior.
