Robert “Bob” Ray Creasy

Robert “Bob” Ray Creasy, age 86, of Hummelstown, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.  Bob was born on Monday, May 1, 1933, in Manhattan, NY to the late Dorothy (Howland) Creasy and Clarence “Ray” Creasy.  In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his son Glenn Edward Creasy.

Bob’s survivors include his two daughters:  Barbara (Creasy) Hannold and Carolyn (Creasy) Troutman; his two grandsons Glenn Hannold and David Hannold; his one sister Dorothy (Creasy) Henderson; his former spouse Marge Creasy, and his long-time companion, Kathy Peterson.

Bob graduated from Springfield Township High School as part of the class of 1951. He attended Gettysburg College. Bob was drafted into the Army on Feb 11, 1956, and served for 1 and 1/2 years as military police. He was stationed in Germany.

After discharge, Bob returned and worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.  In 1964, he bought two Mr. Donut stores, then started and operated Henderson Tire Company, a wholesale tire dealership located first in Lemoyne, PA and later moving to Harrisburg.

Bob’s memorial service will be held when our country’s health situation permits. It will be announced here when scheduled.  Cremation was private.
