Robert A. Miller

Robert Andrew Miller, age 92, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Dillsburg, died on Monday, October 6, 2025. Robert was born on Monday, July 31, 1933, in Jersey City to the late Anthony J. Miller and Katheren Miller. Robert was the Widower of Shirley (Corrigan) Miller, whom he married on June 28, 1958, and who died on February 28, 2008.

Robert’s survivors include his 2 children: Lisa Sucic and husband Tom of Dillsburg and Lorraine Miller of Yardley. Grandchildren: Jennifer Swingle and Karen Rupp. Great-grandchild: Evrett Watson. Sister: Kathleen “Kid” Stehlin. Sister-in-law: Betty Mae Miller, and several nieces and nephews.

Robert Proudly served in the US Army as a Tank Gunner. After his honorable discharge he worked for the department of the army doing quality control until he retired. Robert was very patriotic, and he greatly enjoyed boats.

All are welcome to join Robert’s family at his viewing on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Pastor John Mackey officiating. Robert’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Buhrig’s Gathering Place (next to the funeral home) immediately following the service. Burial will follow the reception in Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill, where military honors will be presented by the Cumberland County Honor Guard.
