Ronald Wilson Powers, age 87, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Marysville, died on Monday, October 6, 2025. Ronald was born on Tuesday, May 31, 1938, in Marysville to the late Clarence Wilson Powers and Nora Ivetta (Bartley) Arndt. Ronald was the widower of Delores Ann Powers. In addition to his parents and wife, Ronald is preceded in death by sister, Betty Mae Fishel and his son-in law, Charles Farleman and son-in law, Scott Hosler.
Ronald’s survivors include his three children: Cynthia R. Powers Fisher and husband Robert of Mechanicsburg, Tracy L. Hosler and companion Benjamin Musser of Liverpool, Scott W. Powers and wife Loriann of Enola and his two half-brothers, James Arndt of Kansas and William Arndt of Dillsburg. Grandchildren, Kayla Hostler, Sierra Farleman and Tonya Miller. Great grandchildren include, Jaxon Hostler, Easton Hostler, Ellison Hostler and MaKayla Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ronald drove the Sportsmans class race car at Silver Spring Speedway for many years as car #7. He also worked for West Shore Oil Company for many years until his retirement.
Ronald’s family will be remembering his life privately. Interment in Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Marysville will be at the family’s convenience.
