He served as a Fire Policeman and worked as security for Mechanicsburg High School Football games as well.  Even when not attending as a security guard, he loved to watch the Mechanicsburg High School Football team play.  Ross was also a devoted fan of the Chicago Bears.  He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt deer and small game; fish the Yellow Breeches Creek for Trout; camp in a tent with his family; and hit the links at local golf courses.  Ross’s passion was for model trains.  He spent many hours collecting HO and N gauge model trains.  He created beautiful landscapes and buildings to enhance his train collection.  Ross enjoyed taking his family on long drives and day trips to many locations including the New England states and to the beach.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
