Roxann Koser Guyer

Roxann Koser Guyer, age 79, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. Roxann was born on Wednesday, July 31, 1946, in Harrisburg to the late Carroll Edward and Ann Olenik Koser. Roxann was the widow of Ronald Klink Guyer, whom she married on December 23, 1968, and who died on July 19, 2002. In addition to her parents and husband, Roxann is preceded in death by two of her children: Judy Skelly and Ryan Guyer.

Roxann’s survivors include her son: Ronald Keith Guyer and wife Kimberly, of Mechanicsburg; her three grandchildren: Michelle, Melyssa, and Carlee; her many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Roxann graduated from Mechanicsburg High School, class of 1964. She worked at Highmark for over 20 years before retiring in 1999 to care for her husband. Roxann enjoyed spending time with her loving family and friends, working in her yard, and taking pride in her homes. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, and American Legion Post #109. Roxann loved all animals and adopted many dogs and cats throughout her life. She was a devoted Phillies fan following in the fanaticism of her mother. Roxann also enjoyed Penn State and Philadelphia Eagles football. 

All are welcome to join Roxann’s family at her Memorial Service on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church, 135 West Simpson Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, with Reverend Mira Hewlett officiating. Roxann’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of fellowship at the church immediately following the service. Burial at Longsdorf Cemetery is private.
