Sarah June Cahill

Sarah June Cahill, age 55, of Mechanicsburg died on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Sarah was born on Wednesday, December 4, 1968, in San Francisco to the late Richard Francis Cahill and Shirley (Brown) Cahill.

Sarah’s survivors include her two children, Candice Louise (Wade) Swartz and her husband, Joey, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; Chase Leigh Wade of Missoula, Montana; her two granddaughters, Lilianah June Dressler and Savannah Marie Swartz, her brother, Patrick, many cousins, and her beloved fur babies.

Sarah graduated from Dominican University of California, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and thereafter working as a registered nurse.  Sarah attended Vibrant Church.   Sarah was an animal lover and had many faithful companions in her care throughout her life.  Most of all, Sarah was a people person and loved spending time with her family.  She had a passion for travel and went on many cruises: “She went anywhere and everywhere.”  She will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her. 

All are welcome to join Sarah’s family at her visitation Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  Sarah’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Buhrig’s Gathering Place (next to the funeral home) immediately following the service.  Burial will follow the reception in Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill.
