Sharon Lee (Weiss) Oakman

Sharon Lee (Weiss) Oakman, age 70, of Camp Hill, and formerly of West Hanover Township, died on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Sharon was born on Thursday, April 7, 1955, in Harrisburg to Shirley Lucille (Rissinger) Weiss and the late Emil Robert Weiss.

Sharon’s survivors include her mother: Shirley Lucille (Rissinger) Weiss of Millsboro, DE; her sister: Marsha Lower and her husband Arno of Mechanicsburg, PA; her half-brother: Robert Sprenkle and his wife Warrenette of Lemoyne, PA; and her nephew.

Sharon graduated from Dauphin County Vocational Technical School as part of the class of 1973. She attended Christ Presbyterian Church and was a member of the VFW #7530 and the Elks. Sharon was gifted with a needle and thread, and was an avid knitter, cross stitcher, and seamstress. She liked to stay active and could frequently be found golfing or running in 5k races. Sharon spent her relaxation time travelling. She loved travelling to Hong Kong, Ireland, and going to the Outer Banks. Sharon enjoyed the finer things in life by travelling to different wineries and attending tastings. She will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

All are welcome to join Sharon’s family at her celebration of life open house and gathering of family and friends on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at West Shore Elks Lodge # 2257, 108 Saint North Johns Church Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. There will be a short religious service at 2:30 p.m. with a time of remembrance.
