Stanley Ingham Jones, age 64, of Newport, died on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Stanley was born on Tuesday, August 30, 1960, in Long Island, NY to the late Donald Jones and Barbara (Ritter) Jones. In addition to his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by his daughter: Haley Jones.

Stanley’s survivors include his four children: Russell Jones of Newport, Jennifer Jones of St. Petersburg, FL, Cynthia Jones of Jacksonville, FL, Stanley Jones of KS; his grandson: James Glover of Jacksonville, FL; his two siblings: Andrew Jones of Carlisle, and Jennifer Wertz and husband Barry, of West Virginia.

Stanley graduated from Carlisle High School as part of the class of 1978 and from the Academy of Medical Arts and Business in 1995. He honorably served his country by serving in the United States Marine Corps. Stanley greatly enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was especially fond of reading sci-fi books. Stanley’s hobbies also included tattooing, working on projects in his shed, and finding and collecting oddities.

Stanley’s family will be remembering his life privately.
